Student ID for the student is
normally generated only after COE (confirmation of enrolment) is issued to the
student. Once COE is issued for the student, you can follow the instructions
below to generate student ID
8.2.3.1 Once you have
logged in to RTOmanager, click offers. By default you will go to the
offer manage page as shown in 8.2.3a.

as shown in figure above. By default a list of all applications appears in the
list as shown in figure 8.2.3b

Please remember that an application must be approved and COE
information must be entered in the system first to generate student ID.
However, you can also reserve a student ID if you want to before COE has been
issued. To do this, click icon as
indicated by blue arrow shown above in figure 8.2.3b and follow the prompt. You
might want to use this reserve student ID in student offer letters and
initial communication with your prospective student before the student is
converted to formal student.
8.2.3.3 Click �icon in figure
8.2.3b, this is where you can add the COE No: for this offer. A pop up
box appears as shown in figure 8.2.3c

8.2.3.4 Enter the Coe
number or you can upload the COE file by clicking on �Choose File� as
shown in figure 8.2.3c. For resident student, COE number can be replaced with
NO COE REQUIRED or SHORT COURSES, or simply tick the checkbox for �Check if
COE Not Applicable� as highlighted in red box shown above in figure 8.2.3c,
you will not need to enter a COE No: it will simply appear N/A as seen
below in figure 8.2.3d

Coe number will appear as shown by red area in figure 8.2.3d

8.2.3.6 Finally to
generate student ID, you can click �icon as shown in
figure 8.2.3e. A pop up box appears as shown in figure 8.2.3f. An automatic
student ID is suggested as shown in figure 8.2.3f or you can manually enter
other student ID. However system will check for the format as setup during the
RTOmanager setup. In this example Student ID format is YYYYDDDD (four digit
year followed by 4 digit number). You can also tick the checkbox for �AVETMISS
Claim?� if the student is going to claim.

8.2.3.7 Click Generate
Now as shown in figure 8.2.3f. A message confirms the creation of student
ID as shown in figure 8.2.3g. This process will convert an offered application
to Enrolled Student. Their data and relate files will automatically be moved to
Student section and hereafter you can only access student information from the
Student section. For packaged offers when there are two entries for each
course, when you add coe number for second course it automatically links with
the previous converted student course.

Please note once the student ID is created the student is a
formal student of the college or institute. You can use the generated student
ID of the student to go to their profile and manage student records from the student
section of RTOmanager.
