18.6 Calendar
From Calendar menu you can create
events/appointments and assign them to other staff. The main objective to have
events in the calendar is for remembering future events on time so that it can
be executed efficiently within deadlines. To do this, follow the instructions
below:
18.6.1��� Click CRM>Calendar as in figure 18.6a. You will go to the CRM Calendar page as
shown in figure below.

18.6.2��� You can switch to next day or previous day in the calendar
by just clicking /icons in figure 18.6a.
Note: Please note that you can also view the calendar in different
formats of Day, Week, Month and Year. Just click the relevant
icons in figure 18.6a to view in the format as per your requirement.
18.6.3��� To add a new event in the calendar, simply click on the
blue time link for e.g. in figure 18.6a. You will go to New Event page within
Calendar as shown in figure 18.6b.

18.6.4��� Enter the details for the event as shown in figure 18.6b.
Note: you can also
assign the event to other staff for e.g. Michael Roberts as in the above figure
18.6b. You can also choose the Task Type to be a �Meeting� or �Appointment�.
18.6.5��� Once you are done, click icon
in figure 18.6b. Recently added event will appear in the calendar as indicated
by red circle in figure 18.6c.

Note: Please note that the pink color of the event indicates that it has
been assigned to different users, white color refers the task is assigned to
you, where as a grey event indicates that they are completed. You can also edit/change
the event by simply clicking the event link in the calendar then you will be
prompted with a pop up window like the one seen below in figure 18.6d
From this window you can edit, add
description and you can mark this as �Completed� by simply clicking the
checkbox then click on. If you would like to delete this �Task� simply click on.
