10.5 Communication Log
From this menu you can record and view all the communication
logs for the student. To do this, follow the instructions below:
10.5.1��� Once
you have logged in to RTOmanager, click Communication>Communication Log as
shown in figure 10.5a. You will go to the Manage Communication Log/Diary
page as shown in figure 10.5b.

10.5.2 Enter
the student ID. Example: 20140003 as shown in figure 10.5b.
10.5.3 Click
�in figure 10.5b. All the
previous communication logs in regards to this student will appear in the list
as shown bin Figure 10.5c.
10.5.4 You
can also enter new logs from here. Enter the log (comments) in the text box as
shown in figure 10.5b.
10.5.5 Select
the status of the log from the drop down menu. Example: Escalated as
shown in the figure 10.5b.
10.5.6 Select
the Type of the log being entered. Example: Payment as shown in the
above figure 10.5b. If you want the comment to be viewed by teacher (in case of
academic comment), then you can select Teacher checkbox.
10.5.7 Finally,
Click �in figure 10.5b. Your
recently added communication log about the student will appear in the log as
shown in figure 10.5c

You can deactivate the log from other users to view by
simply clicking on the flag icon as shown above in figure 10.5c
�This colour means all
users/staff can view the Comm Logs for this student
�This colour means only the
user who added the Log can view it only.
Please note that the �as shown
in figure indicates whether the communication is escalated to higher level,
resolved, informed, in progress and reviewed.which indicates whether the communication is related to
academic, assessment, exams or payment.
