To add divisions (study periods) to semester, follow the
instructions below:
4.3.2.1�� Click
Admin> Manage Calendar> Manage Semester Division as shown in figure
4.3.2a.

4.3.2.2� Enter
all the information for Semester Divisions (study period) as shown in red area
in figure 4.3.2b.

Please understand that semester division (study period) is
normally total weeks of study for each semester. Example: a semester may
consist of 12 weeks. Term defines the sub division period of Semester.
4.3.2.3�� Finally
Click. Your
recently added semester divisions will appear as shown in figure 4.3.2c

You can add holiday
weeks to any week (study period) shown within the red rectangle by just
clicking
Update
Holiday week. Please
note that the check box �as shown in
figure 4.3.2c must be
ticked to
have this effect. The holidays that you have added in Course>Manage
Public/College
Holiday
will be automatically linked to the Holiday Week.
4.3.2.4�� You can then link your calendar to the course for
each year using the Course Calendar menu on the right. Here you can select the
calendar type, year, course type and the selected course that you want to link
with the desired course.
4.3.2.5 If you would like to setup terms but continuing from
a previous semester you just simply need to select �Continue From Previous
Semester� then an option will appear �Select Previous Semester� then
select the semester from the drop down menu, please refer to figure 4.3.2.d

4.3.2.6 If you would like to create more terms e.g. term 1-4
under the same semester you first need to create term 1 by specifying the weeks
e.g. 5 weeks as seen below in figure 4.3.2e, Then click on �Add Semester
Division� Once term 1 is created simply repeat process of adding terms into
a semester however under �Term� simply select term 2 from the drop down
menu. Once you add term 2, term 3 will then appear in the drop menu and so forth,
refer to figure 4.3.2e

4.3.2.7 To delete terms from a semester you simply need to select
the last term that shows for that particular semester, e.g. if we look at the
below figure 4.3.2f we can see there are 2 terms, term 1 & term 2. So
firstly under the �Term� field select term 2 from drop down and the �Delete
division by Semester & Term� confirm button will be visible, simply click
this and it will delete term 2 for that semester, keep repeating the same
process if there are more than 1 term in that semester which e.g. case below
figure 4.3.2f there are 2 terms.

Tip: You cannot delete more than one term at a
time, you will need to delete 1 term at a time by starting with the last term
and working your way up. Refer to figure 4.3.2f
