From this menu you will communicate with students through
automated group emails by sending bulk email to multiple students/staff.
However, it is a must that the students have at least one email address. To
send email using the mailing list, follow the instructions below:
10.1.1��� Once
you have logged in to RTOmanager, click Communications as shown in
figure 10.1a.

10.1.2 Select/enter
all the relevant information in selection criteria section as shown in
figure 10.1a and click. The student list matching as
per the selected criteria will be displayed as shown in figure 10.1a.
Please note: that in
above example there is only one student enrolled shown in the course selected,
However there could be 50 students depending how much are enrolled. (Just simply
make sure you tick the students email checkbox to whom you wish to send emails
to.)
PS: You can send
emails to students email address and as well as their college email address if
specified.
Note: You can select
the email template if the template has been set up for this purpose to
automatically populate the content based on the template. Template can be set
up using the report section and only accessed by SADMIN user role only.
10.1.8��� Write
the subject of the email. Example: Welcome Email, that you are sending to the
students as shown in figure 10.1a.
10.1.9 Write
the body of the message as shown in figure 10.1a. Or select the defined
template and the content will be populated.
10.1.10 If attaching files -
Click �Choose File� and select files (optional) from your local computer
to attach to the message you are sending as shown in figure 10.1a.
10.1.11 Select the students among
the list you want to send mail by checking the check box shown in figure
10.1a.
10.1.12 Finally click �in
Figure 10.1a. A message in green as shown in figure 10.1b will confirm that
your mail has been sent to your intended recipient. You will also see a green
tick under the �Mail Status�
which also indicates the email has been sent to the selected students email
address.

If you had checked, then the system will record
the email information to student communication log/diary, as marked by red box
shown above in figure 10.1b.
You can also send Emails to Staff by simply going to Communication�Mailing List�Staff Mailing list as shown below in
figure 10.1c

The process of sending emails to staff is exactly the same
method as mentioned above when sending emails to students. However you may see
fewer �Selection Criteria�.
