15.3.1.1 Once
you have logged in to RTOmanager, however your mouse over compliance main
menu and click Academic Progress then click on the submenu �Setup
Assessment Task� as shown in figure 15.3.1a. You will go to the page as
shown in figure 15.3.1b.

15.3.1.3 Select the subject for which you want to set
up assessment for e.g. Business Networking as shown in figure 15.3.1b.

Enter the assessment task name for e.g. Assignment1 as shown in
figure above.

Enter suitable description for the Assessment task description as shown in
figure 15.3.1b.
15.3.1.6 Enter Total marks available for this
assessment for e.g. 100 as shown in figure 15.3.1b. Please note that if
the grading for the subject is competency grading then marks entry is not
required.

the Pass Mark for the subject for e.g. 50 as shown in figure
15.3.1b.

Enter the Assessment weightage for this assessment e.g. 50 as shown
in figure 15.3.1b

Select the Units of the subject (if required) by ticking the check boxes
e.g. I have ticked/selected 3 units as shown in figure 15.3.1b.

Select Use for final outcome radio button if needed which basically
means if student passes assessment they pass the units automatically, as
shown in figure 15.3.1b.

Finally click in figure
15.3.1b. Your recently added assessment task will appear in the list as
shown in figure 15.3.1c.

Similarly you can create as many assessment tasks as you can
as per your requirement and need. You can also edit/delete the assessment task
by clicking /
icons shown in figure 15.3.1c.
Note: You may want to add e.g. 10 assessments but may only want to
use 5 of them now and the others at a later time or this assessment is no
longer needed. The Inactive icon is very
useful and allows you to do just that. When you need to make the assessment
active again simply click icon which will
re active the assessment, please refer below as shown below in figure 15.3.1d.
When active it will be indicated by a tick, when inactive it will not be
ticked.

If the subject is set up as competency
grading then the marks set up will not appear as shown below in figure 15.3.1.e.
